Today's Firsts

Today was Jonathan's first sleep over since Magda was born. Elizabeth, Kayleigh, and Jonathan came over for happy hour while Magda was down for her nap so everybody was here when she got out of bed this afternoon. She so enjoyed having him here that she didn't ask to nurse once since getting up from her nap. She "helped" me brush his teeth at bedtime and insisted on her first attempt at using toothpaste (she didn't like it).

Also this evening, when we took the dogs into the park, we left the stroller in the garage. Magda actually got to walk the dogs for the first time tonight She walked most of it though she did get a ride on my shoulders for part of it. When Stepan is throwing the frisbee for Rosie, she likes to attached Rose's leash to my shorts and "walk" me. It's a hoot to have her pull on the leash and tell me sternly, "Don't pull, Mama!".

How funny - that I would like to see!!

I'm sure Jonathan was elated that he got to finally spend the night with Aunt Jenny.

Actually, she's been walking Homer on his leash for quite some time now. And she occasionally convinces us to let her hold on to Rose's leash - which usually last for only a few seconds.

Saturday's "first" was that there was no stroller with us. Usually she rides half the time and walks the rest. And yes, taking the stroller is much, much faster... :-)
