Where?

I've recently read that 87% of young, adult Americans cannot find Iraq on a map. That's a significant number of potential war heros who have no idea where they'll be going when they are sent to fight Sadam. What's even more astonishing is that 11% of those same young, adult Americans cannot find the USA...so 11 out of 100 soldiers won't be able to find their way back home when the fighting is done. Luckily, the CIA has on-line geography quizzes anybody can take to broaden their understanding of our place in the world. There are other cool, interactive geography quizzes....I made a 142 on the USA quiz (I missed Iowa completely and had to 2nd guess some of the northeastern states). I wonder how I would do in some of the other regions....

Rats, I only made 117 on the US quiz - I think I got all the "I" states wrong, too!
I got a 100 out of 114 on the Europe Quiz. They sure added a bunch of new countries since the time I live there.

in the region of getting your husband to post the pictures we took while we were in NYC, you fail miserably. I have tried to be patient. There is a definite whine in my minds voice right now.

Ugh. I got 104 on the US quiz. At least I got a 33 of 33 on the World Quiz! But only 66 out of 114 on the Europe Quiz. Geography never was my strong point--never seemed much point to it, living in Texas where it takes days to drive out of your own state.

so bored tonight!!! I took the European quiz and scored 61 of 114 pts (ugh). Then I took the world quiz and scored a perfect 33 points out of a possible 33 points. I'm so proud of me.
