Bike Helmets

Did you know there is a Bike Helmet Safety Institute?

Everybody thinks that they wouldn't ever fall off their bikes. I'm sure, my Aunt Kathleen thought that as well before she toppled over last weekend during her 20-mile training ride. She cracked her helmet in two places....thank God it was her helmet and not her skull! ... D.McL....Dr. L...everbody else who reads this - wear your helmets! ... Kathleen, I hope you've recovered from your spill, bought a new helmet, and are enjoying your training. Good luck at Cinco Ranch.

Yes--even if you're just riding around the neighborhood, WEAR YOUR HELMET (Felicia!). All it takes is a tap from a car too close to you, and the concrete on neighborhood streets is just as hard as that on highways. Your head will split just as easily, and a hat won't save you.

Besides that, helmets these days look so cool!

I didn't know where else to put this comment--regarding your solicitation of suggestions of music for Harmonium, I am always partial to the Brandenburg Concerto. I have heard it used in a wedding before for the bridal walk down the aisle, and it was lovely.
