The land around our house is just bursting with all kinds of nature. What little rain fell last weekend has coaxed up a vast field of rain lillies in our yard, the field next to our house, and all throughout the park. On our walk last night, we were bombarded with june bugs. And I literally mean bombarded - I don't think june bugs can see all that well cause they were constantly flying into us...it was kinda creepy!
Posted by jfer at May 31, 2002 10:14 AMI would like to know more about rain lillies.
I have heard of them but have never seen what
they look like. Donna
A long, long time ago, when I was a little girl I fell in love with rain lillies, yellow like cream butter, deep pink and light pink -like a baby's cheeks in winter and white as pure as snow, they came up here and there, they were all over the school yard and the playground, the swayed with the summer breezes after a kind rainshower. Today I cultivate rain lillies and every time after a kind shower they come up, yellows, pinks and whites, and I thank God for the priviledge of seen beauty in the most simple ways.

Posted by: Margie de la Houssaye on October 2, 2004 3:19 PMHi, Margie
All the flowers that come in my yard are wild...I wouldn't have a clue where to get a particular variety.
However, I did do a quick google search on "pink rain lillies" and found this site.
Again I have no experience with this vendor, this is not an endorsement. I just noticed that they offer what you're looking for.
Good luck.
